Beef & Garlic Festival (Japan)

Meri-Go-Round

This Festival was held in the city that the Japanese call "The Garlic Capitol of Japan"

We got to try lots of different ways japanese prepare garlic, I had: Black Garlic Honey, Pickled Garlic, Garlic Sausage and regular Garlic Toast! They also rotiserri a cow! and sell lots of other items to eat at the festival! (they had great deals on vegetables, so I did a little grocery shopping while we were there too!)

All of there festivals, have music, singing, dancing, FOOD, and games for kids!
Demi and KeShawn loved the meri-go-round and the choo choo train! They also do a thing called garlic sumo wrestling, where you decorate a clove of garlic, and than i guess they fight them in a mini ring (we left to early so I didnt get to see exactly what they did!)

(I will add more pictures later, but blogger is being very slow today!)

At this pic they had just finished cutting off the delicate pieces! (so if you ever go to one, you want to be inline first so you can have a chance at the tender delicate pieces! :D )

Wild Horses and Lighthouse in Northern Japan

Shipwreck Beach August 25th

This is shipwreck beach in Northern Japan, many come here to collect sea glass (broken glass bouies from the fisherman) they are peices of glass that have been polished by the rocks, they have no sharp edges!

This is a mountain of Seashells you walk past to get to the beach

random garbage is everywhere..lots of these black funnels..dont know what they are!

The girls thought it was awesome to be able to climb up on the old broken ships!

Happy 3rd Birthday Demetria! Abby Cadabby Style

For Demi's Birthday we had a dress up party! The girls wore Fairy outfits, got bracelets, rings, made neklaces and mommys painted there nails! :) They had so much fun playing and doing sticker fun! it was an awesome day and they all looked adorable! (I will make a video soon of all the pictures)

This Abby Cadabby cake, my friend and I made, it turned out awesome and tasted wonderful!
