Update about Japan!

Finally got over to the computer lab, but forgot camera! We will have our house next week and internet the week after, so you'll just have to wait until then for pics! We went on a tour of the city we stay in and one nearby city. it was great! we've had sushi a couple of times and it is so much better than any i had in the US. we went to a fish market and sampled different kinds of food, sorry didnt try the fish eggs but dee said they were good, kinda tasted like beer! I liked the squid and all the vegetables. The vegetables here have such strong flavor! like celery in US taste like water, here it is so good, i even like the radish's and mushrooms! Yes i said mushrooms (you know i dont eat fungis, but now i do) We also went to a budhist temple, which was beautiful, and it is way to expensive to die in Japan, for a family buriel site (only kind they have) costs about 320 thousand +. They believe the more you spend the better the after life! We also went to a shrine (cant remember the religion or the name of it but when i put pics up i'll let you know) it was very nice, beautiful workmanship on all the buildings and sculptures, there was also a sacred 400yr old japanese ceder tree.(we knew it was sacred because they hang a rope around it with paper hanging from the rope!)Here in japan you have to be good at shrubbery cause all the trees are just imaculate, i havent seen one overgrown bush or tree! Also they take pride in everything down to the brick side walks are like marble! and the man whole covers in the street are decorated with flowers and say the name of the city on them in beautiful writing! Cant wait to tell you more, but should get back to Dee, left him with both kids! (probably pulling his hair out) love you all and take care!
